CharliTito Ortiz was born in Huntington Beach, California on 23 January 1975. His birth name was Jacob Christopher Ortiz. He was a resident of Huntington Beach until he moved to Santa Ana, California. Ortiz is half Mexican from his paternal lineage. His father was Sam Ortiz, who gave him the nickname Tito.
