Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from the mixed race family of South London in England. Her mother and father have both been English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She earned her BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe made her debut motion-picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. The film's success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. Her credits in theatre include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with The thriller The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before being removed from The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after a guest appearance in the pilot episode in the season's third. She was Tituba in the series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared together on Salem and also he played an appearance with her on that show.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty together with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks since her four athletic brothers all were hockey players, baseball players, and both in the spring and summer. Ashley was never a walker, she did dance, so when she was just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley developed a passion for dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet at the top divisions. In addition, she won top soloists awards in all important dance competitions including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
